The challenge requires students to apply their subject knowledge and build a prototype solution to a real-life situation being faced by one of New Zealand's largest export industries.
The teams are presented with an industry challenge that requires students to use investigative research and practical knowledge of science, technology, and business to design and prototype a solution to the challenge. Students will interview and collect feedback from industry representatives.
This years challenge will be a national online event run during week 8, 9 & 10 of term 3, and to a set timetable for the live online sessions.
The challenge consists of four online live sessions and four stages for the classroom project. During the online sessions, students will gain insight, interview and collect feedback from sector experts.
