The challenge requires students to apply their subject knowledge and build a prototype solution to a real-life situation being faced by one of New Zealand's largest export industries.
The day presents teams with an industry challenge that requires students to use investigative research and practical knowledge of science, technology, and business to design and prototype a solution to the challenge. Students will interview and collect feedback from industry representatives. Each day has $250 worth of prizes up for grabs!
Challenges this year will be held in:
Wellington: Friday 7 June at the Lower Hutt Events Centre
Hastings: Wednesday 26 June at Showgrounds Hawke's Bay
Palmerston North: Friday 2 August at Massey University
Timaru: Tuesday 27th August at Ara Institute of Canterbury
