Enterprise 4 Kids

Enterprise 4 Kids is an inquiry programme that integrates enterprise, social sciences and technology education. It’s an easy way to get started with enterprise at a classroom level. Students set up businesses, become producers and consumers and participate as citizens in their society. Teachers are guided with week-by-week lesson plans, and receive resources to deliver the programme.

As a teacher, we are always looking for real-world experiences for children to apply and extend their learning. While gaining the skills to create and run their own market stall, the children were able to grasp the complexity behind running a business that they previously were unaware of. This programme was a highly engaging way for children to apply their critical thinking and mathematics ability as well as developing many of the key competencies.
