Comms and Marketing Advisor

aka "Chief Cheerleader"

The main purpose of this role is to create raving fans.  How cool is that?!?!   We are the coolest little charity that helps to inspire students and unleash leaders for a prosperous NZ.  We are looking for someone who is an experienced comms & marketing guru who's looking for their next challenge. This is a role that would suit someone with 5 – 7 years of experience in a comms and marketing role. 

You're ready to spread your wings and want to work somewhere that aligns with your values.  You love what you do, and are keen to try new stuff.  Most of all, you love connecting with people. No two days are the same.  This role suits someone who likes variety, can work independently and wants to be part of a national charity with a clear purpose. 

 

Key responsibilities for this role fall into the following areas:

  • Stakeholder communications
  • Marketing
  • Management of our online / digital presence
  • Management of our alumni programme
  • PR and media management
  • Brand management

Essential skills and experiences required for this role are:

  • Communication skills – ability to not just tell a story, but to tell it for impact and purpose
  • Marketing strategies - delivering in both digital and traditional channels
  • Managing websites and social media platforms
  • Graphic design – ability to create (or oversee the creation) of content that is visually engaging
  • An eye for detail – a focus on ensuring there is an attention to detail in everything that goes external
  • Analytical skills – aptitude to interpret findings and create a plan
  • Strong people skills – someone who really loves engaging with others
  • Organisational skills – ability to prioritise

Operations Coordinator

aka "Arranger of Awesome"

The Operations Coordinator is part of the team that is the engine that runs our charity.  The purpose of this role (and team) is to provide support to all aspects of the business as well as to our external stakeholders.  It’s a bit customer service, a bit logistics and a bit operations all in one.  No two days are the same.  This role suits someone who likes variety, is a team player and wants to be part of a national charity with a clear purpose

 

The role is a multi-faceted role as is necessary to support so many internal functions. 

  • Customer Service (internal & external customers)
  • Operation and Logistical Support
  • Administration Support

This role also has key focus areas of support in the following areas

  • Event Support
  • Alumni Programme Support

 

Job will start in 2022
