The Young Enterprise (YES) Alumni Awards celebrate the achievements of an estimated 75,000 students who have completed the Young Enterprise Scheme where students work in teams to create and run a small business for a year.

Distinguished Alumni Award 2019

The Distinguished Alumni Award recipient is a standout player in their respective field and has made long-standing impact in the business world.

Winner: Paul Grey, Founder of A2X

A2X is the fast-growing software service used by e-commerce businesses and their accountants worldwide to automate accounting for Shopify stores and Amazon marketplace sales.

Mimi Gilmour Buckley (Co-Founder and Boss Lady at Burger Burger) and Mark Vivian (Partner at Movac) were also selected as finalists for the award.

Emerging Alumni Award 2019

The winners were celebrated on Wednesday 4 December at the 2019 YES National Awards dinner. The evening also celebrated the achievements of more than 4100 secondary students taking part in The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme who between them have set up more than 1000 businesses this year.
