Young Taranaki entrepreneurs receive recognition
Participants in the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES), a programme where students learn about aspects of business through running their own small enterprise, met with Kuriger as she sponsors the Enhancing Rural Communities Award.
“This is the highlight of my year” Kuriger, who is the Taranaki-King Country MP, said.
She said her team reviewed the students’ business plans and choose up to four finalists with business ideas that support the rural sector.
