Finance & HR Cooridnator

The key purpose of this role is to take full ownership of accounts payable, accounts inbox and HR administration support.

We have a small team, so we need someone who will take initiative and is prepared to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Given the HR administration side of this role, this person must be experienced in dealing with confidential information.

This role is part-time. We are flexible on the hours per week but roughly between 5 – 10. This could be a part-time employee or a contractor who invoices us.

Key responsibilities for this role fall into the following areas:

  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Inbox
  • HR / Payroll Administration
  • General responsibilities

Accounts Payable / Accounts Inbox

  • Ensure the accounts inbox is up to date. Answering any queries.
  • Ensuring invoices are authorized and coded correctly.
  • Inputting invoices into Xero
  • Preparing Batch Payment

HR / Payroll Administration

  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed for onboarding new employees, annual performance reviews and offboarding departing staff.  Ensuring all this information is kept confidential.
  • Ensure CEO calendar and contacts are up to date with employees details and birthdays.
  • Prepare fortnightly payroll for roughly 20 staff
  • Manage and process police vetting for all staff and Board members

General responsibilities

All team members of the Trust are expected to work from time to time in areas beyond their core responsibilities.
