The Operations Coordinator is part of the team that is the engine that runs our charity. The purpose of this role (and team) is to provide support to all aspects of the business as well as to our external stakeholders. It’s a bit customer service, a bit logistics and a bit operations all in one. No two days are the same. This role suits someone who likes variety, is a team player and wants to be part of a national charity with a clear purpose.

As the YES Regional Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES), a nationwide initiative empowering secondary school students to establish and run their own businesses.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with students, teachers, and stakeholders across the Greater Wellington and Tairāwhiti regions. You’ll be working alongside teachers as they deliver the YES programme, inspiring students to develop entrepreneurial mindsets and practical business skills. You’ll also engage with local mentors and businesses to foster a robust support network for students.
While based in our Wellington head office (YES HQ), this role includes regular overnight travel to Gisborne as part of your work in the Tairāwhiti region.

This is a relatively self-lead role, working collaboratively with the YES HQ team and reporting to our Head of YES.
