Aparima College teacher honoured for inspiring sudents
Aparima College’s Lynne Grove has been presented with the YES National Teacher of the Year award for her many years of dedication and impact supporting student entrepreneurs.
Aparima College teacher Lynne Grove believes the Young Enterprise programme is capable of changing lives.
In fact, she has heaps of stories of how business education has already changed the lives of her rural students — like one who’s working at a big accounting firm in Australia, or the students whose business has been getting native tree planted all over Southland.
Grove’s passion and dedication to creating opportunities for her students have been recognised with the Sir James Fletcher Award for Most Inspiring Teacher at this year’s YES National Awards.
