
Motivated by their own struggles, two Roncalli College students have created New Zealand's first-ever leggings designed to aid period pain.
The business Neoma Active, was part of the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES), a nationwide learn-by-doing programme and competition, with students setting up and running a business.
Neoma Active co-founders Krishna Shah and Alexis Miller won the YES South Canterbury regional competition on Wednesday, and would now contest the national title, in Wellington, in December.
