Year 12 business students Shekinah Blaikie, Devon Bree, Emily Clapcott, Annabel Nesdale, Chelsea Lin and Alex McLennan have spent months researching what school leavers need for their Survive out of School application (app).
An app is a piece of software designed to fulfil a particular purpose usually downloaded by a user to a mobile device.
Innovation Manager at Kiwi Net Seumas McCroskey, as well as MEA Mobile have guided the girls in developing the app.
"In this modern world, students have more going on than ever. The Survive out of School (SOS) app will provide relevant information to help them navigate the big wide world outside school," SOS CEO Shekinah Blaikie said.
