As part of the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES), senior secondary students set up and run their own small enterprise, supported by teachers, schools, and local organisations including a YES Regional Coordinator from the HB Chamber of Commerce, a business mentor, and their local business community.
Since 2001, the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Market (HBFM) has enabled YES teams to bring their innovative product offering to market.
HBFM Market Manager, Emma Glover says they really enjoy being able to host this fantastic event, and to be able to support the Young Enterprise Scheme students.
"The products and services on offer are increasing in quality each year, so we look forward to seeing what this year’s students have in store for us," she says.
