Climb the Money Tree

Climb The Money Tree is a financial education version of Snakes and Ladders. Students will experience financial risks and rewards, and the consequences of these. The different levels of game play are designed to help students recognise notes and coins and make amounts of money using notes and coins. They will understand and use sums of money in calculations and record these accurately, and differentiate between needs and wants.

Through Climb The Money Tree, students will:

  • Recognise notes and coins (optional)
  • Learn to use sums of money in calculations
  • Be able to differentiate between needs and wants
  • Record money transactions (money in, money out and balance) using a Money Tracker(optional)
