Hot Topic 8: Insurance

The Hot Topics series includes 12 short units designed to improve students’ financial capability. Hot Topic 8 examines the different types of personal insurance products available today. Students will examine the insurance costs for a range of different scenarios and discuss the economic consequences of not having insurance.

  • Learn how to calculate the approximate value of their own possessions
  • Compare and contrast vehicle insurance quotes for a range of different drivers.
