Our Rangatahi Business Sprints are designed to introduce rangatahi Māori to the world of business, equipping them with the tools and mindset to foster their entrepreneurial spirit. Young Enterprise is facilitating a series of one-day business programmes for 30 rangatahi at each event across Waikato, Taranaki, Southland and Gisborne and 100 across two events in Central and South Auckland.
The programme is open to rangatahi Māori in Years 9-10 (or age equivalent). Schools, Kura Kaupapa, and Māori community groups in Auckland, Waikato, Taranaki, Gisborne, and Southland are invited to bring along their rangatahi. They must be accompanied by either their school teacher, senior faculty, or a member of staff from their organisation.
Teachers or principals can register their school's interest in attending the Rangatahi Business Sprints by filling out the registration form here or click the button below. Registrations close 14 days prior to the Sprint you wish to attend.
Once registered, you will be sent a form requesting dietary information of the rangatahi you are bringing. If you would like to bring more than the permitted amount of rangatahi to a Business Sprint, please make sure to get in touch with the Event Manager as soon as possible.
